Joe Ross covered five innings without a score, hitting a double, for Washington, who suffered a third straight loss after starting the season late and lost due to a coronavirus outbreak on his roster.
In a pre-game ceremony, the Dodgers received their classic autumn monarch rings. Some fans participated, who could not attend the previous campaign, played in empty pandemic parks and which led to the seventh coronation of the team in history.
