Kevin Owens opens about NJPW star Juice Robinson, who broke his nose on his WWE debut

Kevin Owens signed with WWE in August 2014 and made his NXT ring debut on TakeOver: R Evolution in December against Juice Robinson (formerly known as CJ Parker in WWE). Owens won the match, but suffered a broken nose.

Kevin Owens remembers how Juice Robinson broke his nose during his WWE debut

WWE recently posted a bonus clip from the WWE Chronicle episode of Kevin Owens on their YouTube channel. In the clip, Owens talked about his WWE debut and how he felt behind the scenes before:

I remember this rather specific moment. Like music, but no one knows it’s my music. Even before that, like before the show started, you know they have the “Then, Now, Forever” chart, I was watching it. It really shook me, because I had seen the chart so many times and now I knew that I would participate in the show for which it was broadcast. I just remember thinking I was fifteen and now we’re finally here. Because I felt it took an eternity to get there, but at the same time, it’s probably exactly how it should have been.

Kevin Owens continued to talk about his debut match with Juice Robinson (CJ Parker) and how he broke his nose. KO also revealed that his broken nose led him to become close friends with the current NJPW star:

And then CJ Parker came out and broke my nose. And as a result, we became very close friends. In fact, I only wrote to him 20, 30 minutes ago that six years ago he broke my nose and stole my heart. H / T: WrestlingINC

Kevin Owens recently fought Roman Reigns on SmackDown. Unfortunately, Owens’s numbers turned out to be too much, with Jey Uso constantly interfering in his matches against Reigns. Uso was also involved in KO’s matches on TLC PPV and on SmackDown last Friday, costing Owens the title in both matches.

We don’t know yet if Owens’ dispute with Roman Reigns is over. Paul Heyman sent a message to Kevin Owens about Talking Smack this week. You can check this out HERE.
