Kevin Hart’s personal client, accused of laundering $ 1 million of the star’s money
Dylan Syer, Kevin Hart’s personal buyer, has been accused of laundering more than a million dollars from the A-list star.
Syer appeared Wednesday in Queens Supreme Court in New York, where he was accused of theft and nine other charges in connection with his appropriation of the actor’s funds.
Syer, 29, initially began working with the 41-year-old comedian / actor in 2015, according to Queens County Attoney District Melinda Katz, and worked honestly for Hart for a time.

Katz said Syer eventually used the Philadelphia native’s credit cards to transfer money to his personal accounts, accumulating more than $ 1.2 million from October 12, 2017 to February 25, 2019.
Syer, a native of Long Island City, spent money on luxury items such as a painting by artist Sam Friedman; a set of five Patek Philippe watches for over $ 400,000, a pair of Louis Vuitton bags and a set of at least 16 collectible dolls from Bearbrick, which can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars per doll and five collectible dolls CAUSE.
He later showed the articles on his Instagram page. Authorities continued to recover all illegally purchased property in an effort to recover Hart’s losses.
After Syer was arrested, officers carrying out a search warrant at his home “confiscated about $ 250,000 in cash and property,” according to Katz.
DA said the defendant used Hart’s credit cards to transfer money to his personal accounts, accumulating more than $ 1.2 million from October 12, 2017 to February 25, 2019.

Katz said one lesson from the case is that “no one is immune to being targeted by fraudsters.”
DA continued: “The defendant thought he was out of reach and living his fantasies rich in lifestyle. But my team discovered the fake purchases – from credit card fees processed by the bank, to tracking FedEx packages delivered to your home and Syer business.
“Whether you are a celebrity or not, anyone can be a victim of this type of fraud. It is essential to keep track of your expenses, check your credit reports and keep your financial information carefully. ”
Hart is the father of his 15-year-old daughter Heaven and the 13-year-old son of Hendrix from his former marriage to Torre Hart; and son Kenzo Kash, three, and daughter with her husband Eniko Parrish, 36.
