From designer outfits to dancing grandmothers and everything in between, the 2021 WNBA project was full of memorable moments. The coveted WNBA orange carpet was virtual this year, but the top prospects were still dressed to impress. Charli Collier’s day suit was designed by Sergio Hudson, the stylist of former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Dallas Wings began the project by selecting Necklace no. Although Collier did not remain on the board for long, she received support from Texas Longhorn colleague Kevin Durant before the project began.
Shortly after his selection, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic greeted the Texas native in the city.
I made your shirt too brother lol, whatever the team 😌 https://t.co/MkctmmlvTH

New York Liberty selected Michaela Onyen with option no. 6, but it was her grandmother who stole the show with these dance moves – and she impressed Bradley Beal, the Washington Wizards star.

Meanwhile, Chicago Sky star Candace Parker shared a bit of comic relief from her daughter.
Talk, my daughter is hilarious …. (looking at the sketch) “hey mom what round were you in?” “Children, man … I humble your misery in you.”

Parker was selected as the first general pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
