The Kentucky basketball team we’ve been waiting to see is finally here. The six-game series of the six savages is ancient history. John Calipari’s cats have now won three games in a row, thanks to the full effort of the Gainesville team, defeating Florida 76-58 in Keion Brooks’ return to the field.
Little did he expect from the sensational second year to return to hardwood. Brooks quickly proved that he did not miss a shot from injury, catching a lob in transition for a dive in his first play of the game.
Let me reintroduce myself.
My name is @ KeionB_12.

It wasn’t his only fight of the day.
We missed that. A lot.

In his first game since scoring 10 points at Gainesville in March last year, Brooks played 24 minutes, finishing with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
Brooks was not the only Wildcat to play at an incredibly high level. Each player contributed to the team’s victory, especially in defense, scoring 25 points in 15 Gator turnovers. The turnover barrage started a 10-0 race in Great Britain at the beginning of the second half. Kentucky eliminated the game with a 13-0 half, starting in the 11th minute, highlighted by a six-point possession that included three from Davion Mintz and Devin Askew.
Four players scored in double figures for the Wildcats, including BJ Boston. The shot guard changed his hairstyle, jumped into the hardwood and buried his first triple in a game since December 12.
Kentucky thoroughly and totally dominated Florida for the best victory of the season. Kentucky basketball is fun again and it won’t slow down any time soon.
