“Kelly Dodd from RHOC still doesn’t know if the masks work

Almost a year after the coronavirus pandemic, Kelly Dodd still doesn’t see why masks are important.

Dodd, 45, acknowledged during the “Real Housewives in Orange County” meeting that her position on protecting herself and others from COVID-19 has not changed much.

“Well, I hate wearing a mask,” she told Andy Cohen in a brief look at the next meeting. “I think everyone is with me. I’ll wear them because I have to, but does it protect your pants from a fart? How does it help you? Do masks help? I do not know.”

Gina Kirschenheiter, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Shannon Beador seemed disgusted with her admission.

“Kelly, I know that Braunwyn did an interview when he said that you don’t take COVID seriously and that there were a lot of people who expressed this on social media,” Cohen insisted. “What’s your reaction to that?”

Without hesitation, she replied: “I have said a few things that I regret. I feel sorry for anyone who has lost their loved ones. I think it’s horrible. I think it’s horrible. Did I take him seriously? Yes, but I was also frustrated. ”

Cohen then asked her how many trips she had made in the first six weeks of the blockade. She did not say how many times she traveled to the country in New York, but said she went frequently to do business with her now husband, Rick Leventhal.

Dodd was first set on fire in April because he called the coronavirus “God’s way of thinning the herd.” She apologized for her short remark and said in a December episode of “See What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that she regrets saying this after her mother was hospitalized with COVID. -19.

Then, in May, she compared the coronavirus to the flu and said, “But how many people die every day? … Well, people will die! I’m sorry to tell you. ”

She also boasted in the same month that she and her family did not wear masks to dine at a restaurant because “no one dies” in Orange County.

She did not apologize for making a false statement, instead she took to social media to say: “By no means do I minimize the deaths caused by this virus and I feel for my loved ones. However, Orange County has 133 deaths out of 3 million people – much smaller than most. ”

The first part of the meeting “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is broadcast on Wednesday at 21:00 ET on Bravo.
