Keaten and Destin Wade, four-star twins from Tennessee, are hired in Kentucky

Kentucky volunteered to make commitments from talented twin brothers.

Surrounded by friends and family at Summit High School, just outside of Nashville, Destin Wade and Keaten Wade revealed that they will attend the University of Kentucky, choosing cats over Tennessee, Louisville and Virginia.

Brothers are considered every four stars, the best 300 potentials. Keaten Wade is the 18th second player in the country and number 156 overall. Destin Wade, a defender who accumulated 1,509 rushing meters, 1,390 meters of passing and 37 combined touchdowns as a junior, is ranked 23rd ATH in the country of rivals.

In recent years, wildcats have had several highly contested battles with Vols on the recruitment route and this is the biggest win so far for the UK. Steve Clinkscale served as Wades’ first recruiter. Giving the brothers their first scholarship offer, coach Clink prevented Josh Heupel’s staff from gaining momentum on the recruitment route in time.

Landing only one of these talented players would be significant. Receiving commitments from the two talented brothers, the Kentucky class of seven men climbed eight places to 18th place in the Rivals team rankings.

Keaten Wade is an explosive defender who will thrive under the tutelage of Brad White. At 6-foot-5, 225-pounds, Keaten may become a factor in the Kentucky SEC. His brother is not as big, but he has a big arm. Whether in his pocket or on the run, Destin Wade has the tools to leave him broken in Liam Coen’s offense, and his skill set is versatile enough to play a wide receiver or a defensive back for Mark Stoops.

It’s a great day for the Kentucky football program, which could turn into a wonderful weekend if Kiyaunta Goodwin joins the Wade twins in the 202nd Wildcats recruiting course on Saturday afternoon.
