Kate Middleton paves the way for William and Harry Patch Up

(Newser)
“William and Harry didn’t go to Grandpa’s funeral on Saturday, but to.” Sunday Times reports that he may be on his way to royal reconciliation thanks to “family peacemaker” Kate Middleton. Per Times, the duchess was the first to engage Harry in the conversation, while family members left Prince Philip’s funeral at Windsor Castle. William then joined in and Kate slid back to give them space for the brothers to talk. Philip’s death, aged 99, came just weeks after his interview with Oprah, his wife Meghan Markle, who is pregnant and had to stay in California.

The relationship between the brothers has been strained ever since. As People remarks, this was the first time the big-thief brothers have been together in the last year since Harry relinquished his royal duties to move to Canada and then to California with Markle and their son Archie. Times reports that Harry will remain in Britain a few days after his grandfather’s funeral to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 95th birthday with his family on Wednesday.
