Kanye West can’t stop his shoes from flying off the shelves.

The latest addition to its Adidas footwear line was sold out in less than a minute after it was launched on Saturday morning.

Yeezy 450 went on sale in Cloud White, after first attracting attention in 2020, when the 43-year-old rapper was seen wearing a foreign figure in Paris.

Kanye wore the bizarre shoes while walking through the French city during Paris Fashion Week in March last year.

He was in town to debut his Yeezy fall 2020 clothing collection, and the abstract proportions of the shoe immediately sparked numerous online memes.

The model finally reached a wider audience a year later – for those lucky enough to snatch a pair.

Despite the jokes, the demand was clearly high for the article, as all the pairs disappeared before most fans could even connect to the Adidas or YeezySupply.com app to get their own.

Retailing for $ 200 per pair, the Yeezy 450 model adopts a gray-beige, fully knitted construction for a sock-like fit.

But the whole conversation around the shoe focused on the chest-like shape of his exoskeleton.

Unfortunately, for those who cannot purchase a pair, they are now resold for up to $ 800.
