Kim Kardashian and Kanye West do not speak after their divorce – after the rapper changed all his phone numbers and told her that he can only contact him through his security.
A source told Page Six exclusively that Kanye, 43, abruptly withdrew from Kim, 40, just before they filed for divorce.
But despite the animosity, the source added that the couple continues to co-parent their children, and Kanye visits them regularly at home while Kim is out.
The source said: “Even before Kim filed for divorce, Kanye changed her numbers and said, ‘You can contact me through my security.’
“Despite this, she trusts him around the children. He loves them and sees many.
“He leaves the house and he arrives and stays with the children. They have an army of nannies, so the transition is easy. ”
It was reported that Kim would never have prevented Kanye from having a relationship with their children, but that she should not be there when he visits, at his request.
Page six exclusively revealed that KimYe is divorcing in January. After intense mediation, Kim filed for divorce on February 19.
The couple had struggled over their extended Hidden Hills property in divorce, but Kim was allowed to keep the property as the main home for their children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3; and the Holy Sons, 5 and Psalm 1.
The source added: “Kim owns all the land around the house, but Kanye had bought the house himself, then they shared the cost of the renovations. Kim struggled to keep the place because it is their children’s home and won.
“Of course, Kanye has her farm in Wyoming, but she was recently in Los Angeles recording and working, so she comes to visit the kids regularly. But it doesn’t carry children to Wyoming and back. ”
In addition, the source added, the division of their finances into divorce was easy because of their first name: “It was an easy case of ‘Keep your money and I keep mine.'”
Representatives for Kim did not return to us and a representative for Kanye declined to comment.
