Kansas City Chiefs activate Demarcus Robinson off-reserve / COVID-19 list for Super Bowl LV

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was activated from the NFL / COVID-19 reserve list on Friday and will be available to play in the Super Bowl LV, while Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Antonio Brown is officially listed as being debatable for Sunday’s game.

Robinson trained for the bosses on Friday for the first time since he was put on the list because he was a close contact of someone who gave positive results. He had to give negative results for five consecutive days before leaving the list and returning to practice.

He was third in the team with 45 receptions for 466 meters and three touchdowns this season. His return would be especially important for the bosses if Sammy Watkins, who is listed as questionable in the final injury report with a calf injury, does not play on Sunday.

The Chiefs also listed strikers Eric Fisher (Achilles) and defender Willie Gay (knee / ankle) as coming out of the game.

Meanwhile, Brown participated fully in Thursday’s and Friday’s training for buccaneers, showing no negative effects of increased workload, according to Friday’s practice report.

He suffered a knee injury in the wild card win of the New Orleans Saints and did not travel to Green Bay for the NFC championship game.

Cam Brate, tight bucs, is also listed as debatable in the final injury report. He suffered a tense back muscle on Thursday and missed training on Friday, although he felt better, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN. Brate is expected to play on Sunday, with the exception of any unforeseen developments, a source told ESPN.

Safety Jordan Whitehead, who struggled with a shoulder injury that took him out of the NFC championship game, threw off his contactless shirt on Friday. The safety of rookie Antoine Winfield Jr., who did not play against Green Bay due to an ankle injury, was a full participant in Friday’s walk. Both players have been limited all week and do not have an injury name for Sunday.
