Justin Timberlake has finally confirmed that he and his wife Jessica Biel have had their second child in the summer – a son named Phineas.
The 39-year-old star spoke about life as a father of two children during a virtual appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, broadcast on Monday.
“It’s wonderful and so cute. Nobody sleeps, “Timberlake joked. “It simply came to our notice then. We are delighted and could not be happier. Very grateful. “
Reports in July said that 38-year-old Biel and her husband had a new addition to their family.
The couple managed to keep the pregnancy a secret while they locked themselves in Montana with their 5-year-old son, Silas, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
The famous couple, who got married in 2012, deftly avoided posting any full-length photos of Biel on social media in the last stages of pregnancy to keep the baby under cover.
It seems that DeGeneres was among the first outside the immediate family to hear the news.
“I think I was FaceTiming and you said, ‘Hey, do you want to know a secret?’ ”And then Jessica came in and you put your hand on her belly. You said, “I have another baby!” She remembered.
Timberlake – who will sing on Wednesday in the inaugural TV show of President-elect Joe Biden – said his son Silas is “very excited” to be an older brother.
“He likes it a lot right now,” Timberlake said. “Phin can’t walk or drive him away yet, so we’ll see what happens.”
