Julio Urías eliminates 11 sailors in the Dodgers victory

Julio Urías opened his campaign in 2021 on April 4 with a jewel of a single race, with seven innings at Coors Field, which was, without a doubt, the best start of his career. On Tuesday, at T-Mobile Park, just three starts later, Urías managed to overtake.

Facing the Mariners, Urías was in top form, hitting 11 career hits while working seven scoreless frames in a 1-0 Dodgers victory. It was the Dodgers’ biggest hit so far this season and exceeded its previous high of nine, achieved on April 18, 2019, in Milwaukee. The seven innings tied his season debut for the longest outing of his career.

An exceptionally sharp Urías caused 17 changes and mistakes in the season, nine of which came on his curved ball, before coming out after throwing 88 pitches (68 shots). He allowed only two baserunners: a walk to Kyle Lewis, the second hitter he faced, and a single on the field for Mitch Haniger in the third. With an output speed of 53.9 mph, Haniger’s single was the weakest ball hit on Urías and had an expected beat average of .060.

The Dodgers needed every effort from this effort as their offense recession extended into another game. They managed one race with two shots and four walks. In the last four games, Los Angeles has totaled eight rounds.
