Julia Roberts has been named ambassador for Chopard.

The Notting Hill star has become the face of the Happy Sport campaign of the Swiss luxury jewelry and watches brand, which sees the launch of two new watches.

On Tuesday, the 53-year-old movie star looked much younger than her age, while wearing a white shirt during a brand commercial. She also showed off her famous pearly white smile, which first appeared on screen with her 1990 film Pretty Woman.

The Oscar-winning actress – who was once the face of another brand, Lancôme – revealed that she has an “all or nothing” approach when it comes to choosing jewelry to wear on the red carpet.

She said: “Wearing really refined jewelry at an event always increases the ante. Take the glamor factor to the next level.

I’m a little, all or almost nothing. If I put a necklace, I put five. If I put a bracelet, I put 10 on each wrist. ‘

Sharing the earliest memory of wearing jewelry, she said: “The first piece of jewelry I had was when I was probably eight years old. My father gave me a birthstone ring. It was so bright and it felt magical.

Julia shook Chopard for the first time at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2016.

Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s co-chair, told WWD: “She was wearing a beautiful Chopard necklace with emeralds – and she was very funny.

The co-stars of The Monster Monster and Oceans’ Eleven franchise are set to team up for Oli Parker’s upcoming romantic comedy, where they will play a divorced couple traveling to Bali to stop their daughter from getting married.

And Variety reports that the film will hit US theaters starting September 30, 2022.

Filming is set to begin in Australia later this year.

Ted Melfi wrote the screenplay from an idea by Parker and Daniel Pipski.

Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will work with Deborah Balder Stone and Sarah Harvey. Erik Baiers, senior executive vice president of production and development director Lexi Barta will oversee the project for Universal.

The news about the release date comes after it was revealed that Billie Lourd is going to play her daughter on screen.

Wren Butler is a graduate of the University of Chicago, who accompanies her best friend, Lily, on a post-graduation trip to Bali.

When she suddenly decides to marry a Balinese local, her divorced parents (Clooney and Roberts) team up and try to stop her from repeating her mistake 25 years ago.
