Juan Soto hits two rounds from home, but the Dodgers beat the national team

LOS ANGELES – Mexico’s Julio Urías allowed Juan Soto the first round at home of the season, but managed to control enough for the Los Angeles Dodgers to beat the Washington Nationals 9-5.

Urías (2-0) threw 5 innings 2/3 and allowed three rounds, including Soto’s solo homer, with one in the sixth inning, and the Dodgers won the second inning.

Soto took it out again in the ninth with Trea Turner at the base to finish the first two rounds at home of the season and also led in three.

Patrick Corbin (0-1) had a weak start to the season, with four 1/3 innings in which he allowed six runs.

Chris Taylor made a three-round home run, and AJ Pollock also produced three laps for the Dodgers.

For the national team, Soto was 5-2, with two homers, three goals scored and three RBIs, while Victor Robles won 5-1.
