Juan Luis Guerra launches his new musical work on Christmas Day and will offer a virtual concert

Santo Domingo. The Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra released this Friday, for Christmas, his new EP (extended song) entitled “Privé”, composed of five songs, on all digital platforms, and tonight he will offer a virtual meeting for the Dominican Republic through his official YouTube channel.

The connection will take place between 22:00 and 23:00, local time, said the singer’s spokesperson. Severo Rivera, in a press release.

The multi-award winning artist will perform with his band 4.40 the five songs from “Privé”, Guerra’s first musical release after his studio album “Literal”, awarded the Latin Grammy in 2019.

It includes two unique songs, including the new single “Pambiche de Novia”, as well as new versions of his three big hits.

Composed, set to music and produced by Guerra under his co-production Janina Rosado, The five songs included in the EP have a supreme orchestration and cover different musical genres led by Guerra.

The singer starred in two videos promoting tourism in his country in November last year, adding to the Caribbean nation’s strategy to gradually recover the most important sector of its economy, which collapsed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Juan Luis Guerra is one of the world’s largest references to merengue and bachata.
