Joaquin Muñoz, former manager and personal friend of the deceased Juan Gabriel, goes on to say that the singer is still alive and does not want to be vaccinated against Covid-19, despite being an elderly citizen.

On the other hand, he also commented that the singer was very scared by the earthquake that recently shook Mexico, with its epicenter in Guerrero, making sure that they exchanged messages while this was happening.
