José Laluz announced that he is withdrawing from the race to become general secretary of the Dominican Liberation Party, claiming that during the electoral process there is “no guarantee”.
“I decided not to register my candidacy for the General Secretariat of the PLD, because there is no guarantee of transparency in the process. The people and companies who trusted and collaborated with me in this effort will get their contributions back, thank you all! “, Laluz posted on the social network.
Last night, the party published the results of the elections to join the new members of the central committee where several members of the cabinets of former president Danilo Medina were elected.

“Starting today, he should change the name of PLD and start naming it: Danilo’s Force, Danilo’s Shield, Anything Danilo says, Danilo CxA or Danilo’s El Colmado,” the PLD leader said.
