Jon Gosselin has revealed that he was hospitalized for COVID-19 and will almost be put on a ventilator while he continues to fight the virus, but his estranged children do not even know he is ill.
Former star Jon & Kate Plus 8 talked about his diagnosis and his hospital stay during an interview on the show Dr. Oz, which was recorded today and will be broadcast on Thursday.
The 43-year-old, who worked as an IT director at a medical unit during the pandemic, told Dr. Mehmet Oz’s host that he had a 104.8-degree fever when his girlfriend Colleen Conrad’s daughter Jordan took him to the hospital.

– I was in a wheelchair. I had to wait urgently, “Jon recalled. “It was full as if the hospital was full, and then they put me in a small room and put me in the hall of the waiting room so I could get a temporary room.”
He explained that everything “happened very quickly” and most of his stay in the hospital was unclear to him.
“Once they evaluated me and once they extracted my blood and made all my blood, I suddenly receive antibiotics, steroids and a plasma antibody transfusion for COVID,” he said.
“Then they moved me to another room, a more permanent room, and then I remember sleeping and then it was just surreal. Like what? I didn’t even realize why I was there until three days later.

Jon’s doctor thought that only one day of delayed treatment could have taken him to a ventilator, which Dr. Oz noted dramatically increased the virus’s mortality rate.
“I had very bad COVID pneumonia based on my number,” the father agreed. Now, what’s interesting is that I didn’t feel it. I didn’t feel bad and I didn’t feel pain because I didn’t feel like someone was stabbing me, but when you went to move or do something and you felt so weak and wanted to faint, it was really scary. ‘
Jon said he would be afraid he would have to stand up and use the bathroom, remembering how he had to ask his nurses to help him with almost everything.

“I miss them”: Jon, who is estranged from his other six children, told Dr. Oz that his danger of death made him rethink his relationship with them.
