JoJo Siwa addresses the reaction to his new board game

It’s not the kind of juice controversy we’re used to.

Dance Moms and 17-year-old YouTube star JoJo Siwa have been put on the defensive by critics of her new children’s board game Nickelodeon, JoJo’s Juice

The game contains questions such as “Have you ever stepped on someone naked or entered someone?” or “Have you ever been out without underwear (swimsuit doesn’t matter)?” which some considered to be problematic requests for children.

Siwa, who was previously forced to deny including a child wearing a black face in a circus-themed video, addressed the controversy in a video response, wearing one of her usual, attractive outfits.

“I was informed by my fans and followers on TikTok that my name and image were used to promote this board game that has very inappropriate content,” Siwa began.

“When companies make these games, they don’t run every aspect of me, so I had no idea what kind of questions were on these playing cards,” she continued. “Now, when I first saw this, I was really upset with how difficult these questions were, and so I immediately brought it to Nickelodeon’s attention.”

She added: “And since then, they have been working to get this game [stopped from] being manufactured and also pulled off all the shelves wherever it is sold. I hope you all know that I would not approve or would ever agree to be associated with this game if I saw these books before they started selling them. “

She concludes by thanking the fans for bringing the issue to her attention and, once again, the Republic is safe.
