A key group of conservative doctors pushing misinformation about Covid-19 vaccines is facing a growing fire from medical experts over its scientific fears, while its leader, Dr. Simone Gold, has been accused. earlier this week for participating in the January 6 attack on the Chapter.
Gold, who founded America’s Frontline Doctors last spring with the help of Tea Party Patriots, was arrested Monday in Beverly Hills, where she lives, and faces charges of entering a restricted building, violent entry and disorderly conduct.
Prior to her arrest, an FBI flyer appeared on an FBI flyer “Searching for Information” about the suspects in the Chapter attack, a photo of Gold holding a megaphone on which he used to hold a discussion inside the Chapter. Gold acknowledged her presence at the Capitol for the first time and expressed her “regret” at the Washington Post, after a video appeared about her walk inside the Capitol.
In May, the Gold group gained quick attention as several right-wing allies, including the Tea Party Patriots and the FreedomWorks Foundation, launched a well-funded publicity stunt that attacks state blockades and minimizes pandemic risks.
Gold and her developing group have attacked policies backed by top scientists such as Dr. Anthony Fauci and other national pandemic experts and promoted misinformation at rallies in Los Angeles and Washington and right-wing media. by Salem Radio and Christian Broadcasting Network by Pat Robertson.
The Gold mission included the promotion of anti-malarial hydroxychloroquine, a fake Covid-19 remedy approved by Donald Trump that poses serious health risks and suggests that the effects of blockage on mental health were more harmful than the Covid-19 virus.
In July last year, Gold sent his message to a well-publicized rally, his group hosted in front of the supreme court, which attracted about 10 doctors, including two ophthalmologists. Gold, who worked at two hospitals before the rally, was later fired and quickly turned to Conservative lawyer and Trump’s ally, Lin Wood, to represent her.
