Jerry Rice Jr. will not let people discredit his father’s legacy.
The former UCLA and UNLV wide receiver joined Twitter to defend the 49ers icon Jerry Rice, after Hally Famer, Randy Moss, claimed that he was the greatest who ever played this position.
“So you agree with Randy No. 1,” Rice Jr. wrote in response to user Colton Waite. “Do you think my father didn’t make an impact? Randy sank. My father caught 5 yards and took him home. The Super Bowl won 21 points himself out of 1 in 4 he participated. I can go on, but it’s too much. “
During a recent episode of the “TO and Hatch” podcast, Moss said it was the GOAT wide receiver and said Rice wasn’t even No. 2 on the list.

Owens, to whom Moss had commented, thought recognizes Rice’s NFL record stats in a quote-tweet.
Owens’ tweet led to Rice Jr.’s response.

Young Rice did not have to defend his father’s place in history, but he did it perfectly. Anyone who has watched the NFL for the past four decades knows that Rice is the best receiver to ever play the game. He’s right in the conversation for the best general player in NFL history. Moss and Owens were great players, but they are not in this conversation.
