Jennifer Lopez could take Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s approach to union

Lopez stopped on Monday on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy,” on Monday and revealed that she and her fiancé talked about not bonding at all, saying they admire Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s enduring partnership. (Hawn and Russell have been together, though not married, for more than 30 years.)

“We definitely talked about it,” Lopez said of Hawn and Russell’s relationship. “At our age we’ve both been married, is it like we’re getting married? Aren’t we? What does it mean to us?”

She added that the two are in no hurry, saying: “It comes down to personal character, what do you want to do? There is certainly no rush.”

Lopez and Rodriguez were due to get married in Italy in early 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic put their wedding plans on hold. Now, she says, after canceling everything, she’s thinking about what to do for their future.

“It was really sad because we had to get married in June and we planned everything. So, in March or April, we look down and think, “Maybe this won’t happen.” Italy is the worst place in the world. And we were getting married in Italy. I said, “Okay, we have to cancel everything,” Lopez said, calling it “disappointing.”

“You only think about yourself, well, things will happen in their divine time in a way, but the same thing with the Goldie and Kurt thing, you think, ‘Should I? Should? We should have time to stop and think about it, “she added.” It will happen when it does.

“We’re just on a type of farm like the rest of the world,” she added. “So, again, it’s just something we have to wait and see in a few months how everything is resolved,” she said.

The two live together and are the parents of Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, 12, and Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12.
