This was the debate on social networks after the star of “The Morning Show” shared a photo over the weekend on her Instagram stories about a Christmas ornament that recognized the Covid times in which we live.
The engraved ornament read “Our First Pandemic 2020”.
Aniston did not include a legend or even identify if the ornament is hers, but people on social media assumed that it is and this led to some people who accused the actress of being morbid and offensive to many people who they lost their loved ones in front of Covid- 19.
Others defended her and said she only acknowledges what happened, while some pointed out that she was a strong advocate of wearing a mask, as well as encouraging millions of followers to shop at small businesses to help them stay afloat.
Aniston did not respond publicly to Monday’s reaction, and CNN contacted his representative for comment.
