Florida reporter Jay O’Brien on Monday set out to do a Facebook Live on Facebook to tell viewers about a lost housing complex for seniors. His filming turned out to be much more spectacular than expected. As he meandered around the streets, the CBS12 reporter suddenly saw a huge ball of fire above him and exclaimed, “Oh my God, what is ACEA in the sky? WHOA! OK Big piece of lightning in the sky right then. I don’t know if you saw that. Possibly a piece of space debris burning in orbit? Sometimes it looks like that. I’ll ask and find out what that was. It was amazing. The newspaper immediately regained its composure and said: “Let’s go back to the current story, what is this apartment complex.” It was later reported that the lightning that the Floridians saw in the sky was a meteor that approached the Earth unusually.
