Jane Fonda has no interest in remarrying

Jane Fonda is happily unmarried.

During a virtual conversation before the Golden Globes in 2021, the actress was asked if she had done something she had not yet done.

“I’m telling you something I failed to do, which is a successful marriage,” said Fonda, 83.

“But the second part of your question is, ‘Do you want to?’ “I don’t want to,” she continued. “It simply came to our notice then. I don’t have any guy who doesn’t want a woman who is willing to be upset and who doesn’t want a woman who is upset and up.

“I do not threaten anyone. I can watch anything I want on TV. So I never want to get married again. But it’s something I’d like to be better at. “

“Grace and Frankie” was married three times: first to French director Roger Vadim from 1965 to 1973, then to politician Tom Hayden from 1973 to 1990, and finally to CNN founder Ted Turner from 1991 to 2001. In 2017, Fonda and music mogul Richard Perry broke up after an eight-year relationship.

Fonda was joined in the chat by Norman Lear, who answered the question about achievements by saying, “I haven’t done it yet tomorrow.”

The fonda is honored with Cecil b. The deMille Golden Globe Award on Sunday, while 98-year-old Lear receives the Carol Burnett Award.
