Jana Kramer and her husband Mike Caussin seem to be on the path of many country songs.
The Nashville singer posted a statement on Instagram, accompanied by an emoji with a broken heart, which seems to indicate a definite separation, despite the fact that he did not mention Caussin and did not use a specific verb about divorce or division.
“It’s time,” Kramer’s statement begins. “While trying to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality.”
“It simply came to our notice then. I loved it hard. I forgave. I put work at stake. I gave everything I had and now I have nothing else to offer. ”
“Please know that I still believe wholeheartedly in marriage, love and reconstruction,” continued the “One Tree Hill” actress. “I just can’t fight anymore. It’s time to heal. Thank you for all the love, heart and support you have fought in many ways in this journey with me and for that I am grateful. ”
“I will always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can’t fight alone.”
Kramer, 37, and former NFL player Caussin, 34, bonded in 2015 and broke up a year later, when Caussin’s infidelity and sex addiction came to light. He spent time in a treatment unit in 2016 and left “comfortable having sex.”
The couple managed to save their relationship, renewed their vows in December 2017 and turned the drama into a book and a podcast about their relationship.
However, in October 2019, Kramer found a photo of a topless woman on Caussin’s phone, which he said led to “the point, like, literally a nervous breakdown, in which I simply no longer I can do it physically ”.
Despite the hypothesis that a bot sent Caussin a photo of the nude on Instagram, she said at the time of the incident: “I don’t think it will be another time.”
Kramer and Caussin share two children, Jolie Rae and Jace Joseph.
