Jake Paul stops Ben Askren in the first round and receives the third knockout

It took Jake Paul less than two minutes to win his third professional fight.

YouTube star boxer Paul sent Ben Askren on the mat with a straight line in the middle of the first round of their cruiserweight fight. Despite Askren getting up, referee Brian Stutts ruled that Askren could not continue, giving Paul a first-round tie at 1:59 in the first round on Saturday night at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Paul (3-0, 3 KOs) then collapsed on the mattress in tears before celebrating and floating in the ring. Paul, 24, quickly took over Askren. He was patient in the first minute, when Askren followed him around the ring.

Then, when Paul began to feel comfortable, he quickly worked with Askren, 36. He put his right hand up with a jab and the solid contact sent Askren down. After the fight, Paul went up to the broadcast stand to celebrate with Snoop Dogg.

“It’s been four months. I’ve been in camp every day,” Paul said of Triller after the fight. “I deserved it … This is the craziest moment of my life.

“I told everyone I would do it in the first round. I told everyone I was a real fighter. I don’t know how many times I have to prove to myself that this is real.”
