Degrassi: Jahmil French, the star of the next generation, has died at the age of 29.
The Canadian actor was known for his role as Dave Turner in the hit series, in which rapper Drake also appeared. His cause of death is not yet known.
Singer Christina Milian – who worked with the actor on the TV series Soundtrack – paid tribute with a comment in the last post on the Frenchman’s Instagram, saying: “You will be missed. Rest in peace, King.

The famous actor won a Canadian Screen Award nomination for his role in Degrassi: The Next Generation, a Canadian teen drama television series set in the Degrassi universe, created by Linda Schuyler and Kit Hood in 1979.
His co-star Melinda Shankar wrote a tribute on Twitter on Monday, saying: “Bhandurner forever in my heart. So grateful for deep memories and convoys with you, beautiful angel. ‘
She added: “Blessed are we to be part of a great dysfunctional family together. Thank you for sharing the gift with the world. I just hope you knew how much you loved. ”

French also appeared in the TV series Pop Let’s Get Physical.
Chloe Rose – who played Katie Matlin in Degrassi: The Next Generation from 2011 to 2013 – wrote on Twitter: “Still in shock. Jahmil will be missed. He was an integral part of the Degrassi family and certainly a big part of my fat days.
He added: “He always wanted to make people laugh and smile, a real joy to be around. Rest in peace.’
The actor last posted on Instagram six weeks ago, in January, where he shared a selfie with an emoji with a smiling face as a legend.
