Cuban actress Jaqueline arenal He denounced on social media that the image club, a state nightclub, invaded the entrance of his building in Havana by setting up a stand there to sell products.
“I am making this publication, in order to denounce the fact that the Image Club, located next to our building on Calzada y C Street in Vedado, has decided (without even consulting with the Neighbors Council) to open a window to sell drinks and other products in a common area of the building “, Arenal explained.
According to the artist, this action prevents people from accessing, because it interrupts the passage through the only staircase that the building has, “and they deactivated a flower bed on our facade to be used by the public that comes to buy”.
For the actress, the fact is a violation of “all the rules of respect and exclusivity of the common space of the building and the neighbors”. In addition, he ignores the allegations that had been negotiated with the club’s manager, who never gave an answer about the concern.
Arenal said he had warned the manager that they would complain through “all appropriate channels” and, in his publication, distributed photos of the letters sent to the authorities, which appear with the signature of the president of the Neighbors’ Council.
In one of them, they complain about the noise made by the people in the nightclub and the inactivity of the police to solve the problem, because the club claims that its customers are not their responsibility once they leave. It also requests reduced hours (from 22:00 to 3:00) until 12:00.
“The club has its entrance on C Street, and we on Calzada Street, when I told them to make the sale at their entrance, they claimed that they could not damage its facade, but it seems that they do not mind harming us with all the inconveniences it would bring us to all levels and this is a violation of the rights of our building “, he stated.
“We have not received any response from any entity, so seeing that the Club is about to begin these sales, we have decided tonight to complete and plant our flower bed and make this complaint through the networks, clarifying that we will not allow this “, warned Arenal, very remembered by the Cuban public, especially for her role of Verena Contreras in the soap opera” Tierra Brava “.
