The best choices
Losing Alice (Apple TV +, Friday, 12:01, premiere of the series): In this Israeli psychological thriller, Alice (Ayelet Zurer), 48, tries to start her career as a director after spending years raising her family. She becomes obsessed with a young femme fatale screenwriter after a chance encounter and ends up surrendering her integrity for power, relevance and success.
Euphoria: special episode part 2 (HBO Max, Friday, 9 p.m.): After the excellent one-hour inaugural specialty of Euphoria last year– which focused on Zendaya Street – the second special of the series, “F * ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob”, reaches Hunter Schafer’s Jules with the magnified goal. In the episode, Jules fights Rue’s decision not to join her on the train at the end of the season. The episode airs early on HBO Max and will air on HBO on Sunday, January 24th.

The adaptation plays Adarsh Gourav, Rajkummar Rao and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Painting with John (HBO, Friday, 11 p.m., series premiere): Art lovers unite! Directed by John Lurie, co-founder of the musical group The Lounge Lizards, in the main role, this new series is part of a meditative tutorial, partly on chat. Introduces Lurie who perfects her watercolor techniques, while sharing what she has learned about life.
Sister (Hulu, friday, 12:01): This four-part British psychological thriller he follows Nathan (Russell Tovey), whose past returns to haunt him in the form of an old acquaintance (Bertie Carvel), as the buried secrets reappear. The suspenseful show, with a supernatural nuance, also has Amrita Acharia, Nina Toussaint-White, Amanda Root and Paul Bazely.
Let’s talk about Salt-N-Pepa (Lifetime, Saturday, 8:00 p.m.): This biopic details the journey of Queensborough Community College students Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton as they enter the world of rap and hip-hop. Salt-N-Pepa had a huge impact as one of the first all-female rap groups, in part because they were not afraid to talk about sex and share their thoughts about men. The film follows the group as they become the first female rap act to go platinum and experience innovative success.
Pixar Popcorn (Disney +, Friday, 03:01): Take your popcorn – even if it’s at home and not in a movie theater yet – to get ready for this collection of 10 mini-shorts with Pixar favorites, such as The story of toys, Cars, finding Nemo, and The Incredibles. These new, bite-sized stories are created by Pixar Animation Studios animators and arrive in time for National Popcorn Day.
