It seems that Call of Duty 2021 brings back a very controversial feature

Call of Duty 2021 it seems to bring back a controversial feature introduced for the first time, in its current form, in 2019 Modern Warfare and continued with 2020 Black Ops Cold War and War zone. No matter how modern CODE play, there are no skill-based escapes, often called SBMM. As the name suggests, skill-based matching matches players with other players with similar abilities. The implementation of the feature has been excellent for newcomers and casual gamers, but it has also proven to be the most controversial and divisive the series has made since it first introduced microtransactions.

At this point, Activision hasn’t said much about Call of Duty 2021nor has it confirmed how the game will handle skill-based matching. That being said, while Activision has not yet addressed the issue, Call of Duty from inside Tom Henderson conveyed the word that the game “will have SBMM” and it looks like it will be implemented and used exactly as it was implemented and used in both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War.

Henderson doesn’t say much about SBMM in Call of Duty 2021nor does it share anything new about the game. That being said, a new report came out this week with the word game title, setting and more.

Speaking of this report, which claims that the game will take place in a never-ending World War II, is when Henderson reveals the above information and seems to suggest that the game will be far from a standard WW2 shooter although not it is clear whether this suggestion is speculation based on the aforementioned report or based on what he heard.

In any case, take all this information with a grain of salt. Henderson is an excellent and reliable source when it comes to Call of Duty, but it does not change the fact that everything here is unofficial and, more importantly, can be changed.

Call of Duty 2021, as its name suggests, will be released sometime this year, probably via PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
