The back half of the recovery from COVID-19 got tired and breathing for Vancouver Canucks striker Brandon Sutter.
“I would climb a ladder,” Sutter told The Athletic in an extended telephone interview on Saturday. “I would get up there and you can’t take a deep breath, you’re like …” Sutter mimicked the deep, urgent breath.
“It’s as if you’re having a hard time breathing. You would feel, like, light and your chest would be so full of air, but it is not.
“I’ve never felt that I was risking anything really bad – or that anyone in my family was risking anything really bad – but I understand 100% that what I had would be a serious risk to someone who is older or who is more high – risk.
