Elden Ring it’s the game that almost everyone wants to hear more about, but no one knows what’s going on with it. After appearing for the first time last year at E3 2019, the developer FromSoftware and the publisher Bandai Namco did not say much about the new title. Fortunately, if a new rumor turns out to be true, it looks like we could learn more very soon.
According to a recent conversation between an Italian streamer (WesaTwitch) and a Federico Fossetti, Elden Ring the initial development has already been largely completed. Fossetti, who is a journalist for an Italian gaming publication, says that FromSoftware is currently in the process of polishing production with Elden Ring and based on the company’s initial timeline, the game should have already been released. However, due to what happened during 2020 in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, domestic release dates have changed.
Rumor continues that nature Elden Ring is quite similar to that of Dark souls series. While all FromSoftware titles share a bit of the same DNA, however, this rumor suggests this Elden Ring is incredibly similar to Dark souls. While Sekiro: The shadows die twice it could have been somewhat a departure for the iconic studio compared to his previous games, Elden Ring It will, however, return much more closely to the formula that made FromSoftware so beloved.
Obviously, given the nature of this rumor, take everything that is stated with a grain of salt. That being said, what is being expressed actually aligns a bit with other rumors I’ve heard in recent months. In early December, another rumor claimed that Elden Ring it is actually about to be released in the first half of 2021. Although this has not been confirmed, it seems to be in line with what Fossetti suggests.
Assuming these rumors come true, this means that we should start hearing and seeing many more. Elden Ring in the coming weeks and months. For now, all we know for sure is that the game is released at an indefinite date for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
