He was eventually sentenced to rehabilitative custody of the Julia Dyckman Andrus Memorial Children’s Home in Yonkers – about a 20-minute drive from the one-bedroom apartment he shared with his mother and sisters – for an 18-month stay. .

But he was allegedly kicked out of the building for setting fire to his roommate, according to the 2011 music and faith fusion volume “Hip-Hop Redemption: Finding God in the Rhythm and the Rhyme.”
