In a first raid in the La Caleta neighborhood of Boca Chica, two men were arrested and a Camry car with a bay (secret compartment) full of bags, duct tape and plastic covers was confiscated. A Ford Explorer SUV, a Toyota car, a nine-millimeter pistol, two motorcycles, a pasola and a press.
In a second operation in the Altagracia neighborhood of the same municipality, another man was arrested and two SUVs were confiscated, a Mitsubishi Nativa and another Chevrolet brand, model Tahoe, White, Plate G254799, inside which they were found encaletadas (hidden) 42 packages, whose total weight was 43. 93 kilograms of cocaine, according to the analysis of the Institute of Forensic Sciences.
In a last raid, carried out in a mechanical shop, located in the Duarte backrest in Caleta, owned by one of the detainees, a cream-colored Lexus SUV was found, with two secret compartments in the front seats, where there was a Glock pistol magazine, with a capacity of thirty-two (32) capsules, as well as several bags and tape.
In the same place, the black Mazda CX-7 model was seized, also straddled, inside which several pieces of evidence were found that are already in the possession of the Public Ministry.
According to DNCD, the first intelligence reports indicate that the structure mobilized drugs in the provinces of La Romana, Higuey, Santiago and Greater Santo Domingo, then sent them to the United States and Europe, through various ports and airports. in the country.
