Roberto Enrique Morales Urquía, the nephew of knowledge San Pedro Sula businessman, Enrique Morales, died this afternoon after being transferred to a private clinic in the city.
Preliminary information on National Police indicates that two unknown individuals aboard a tourist vehicle arrived at the Morales Urquía house in the Villa Eugenia neighborhood, near the College of Journalists of Honduras (CPH), in order to carry out a robbery, then the businessman was shot.
Police teams went to the Morales Urquía house to investigate the facts, as there are several security cameras in place that could help authorities identify those responsible.
After his violent death on March 3, the prominent businessman leaves his wife and five children.
Roberto Enrique Morales Urquía was born in San Pedro Sula and graduated with a degree in science and letters from the famous La Salle Institute.
He later studied a degree in public accounting and finance at the National Autonomous University of Honduras (Unah), as well as a master’s degree in finance at the Honduran University of Technology (UTH).
