Illinois, Indiana to discontinue Johnson & Johnson vaccine after reports of blood clots
As of Tuesday night, 2,076 patients in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of these, 453 patients were in intensive care and 198 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.
In the last 24 hours, laboratories have reported testing 88,390 specimens for a total of 21,371,760 since the pandemic began.

The seven-day preliminary positive test nationwide between April 7-13 is 5%.

A total of 9,386,135 doses of vaccine were delivered to Illinois suppliers, including Chicago.
A total of 7,482,650 vaccines have been administered in Illinois since Tuesday night. The seven-day average of daily vaccines is 132,810 doses. 138,538 doses were reported in Illinois on Tuesday.

-Carroll County: 1 man aged 70 years
-Cook County: 1 woman of 20 years, 1 woman of 30 years, 1 woman of 50 years, 3 men of 60 years, 1 woman of 70 years, 4 men of 70 years, 2 women of 80 years, 3 men of 80 years
-DuPage County: 1 woman of 60 years, 1 man of 90 years
-Kane County: 1 30-year-old man
-Lake County: 1 man of 60 years, 1 man of 80 years
-Madison County: 1 man aged 70 years
-McHenry County: 1 woman from the 90’s
-Peoria County: 1 woman of 40 years
-Richland County: 1 60-year-old woman
-Tazewell County: 1 man from the ’80s
-Vilion County: 1 woman of 30 years, 1 woman of 70 years
-White County: 1 woman of 30 years
-Will County: 1 man of 80 years
