Brandin Cooks has been trading more than just the credentials of connecting to a streaming service.
The former first receiver since 2014 has played for the New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams and Houston Texans since 2016. The teams paid a premium for his services and he delivered. However, the 27-year-old will put his foot down.
“As for the team, they could change me for design capital, I would warn them to think twice because, honestly, I will not accept other transactions,” said Cooks. “For me, if you want me outside your team, you just have to let me go and choose my destination. For me, I have a newborn son at home and he is looking for someone to set an example, so I think I’m starting to stand firm when it comes to my career. “
Cooks caught 70 catches for 984 meters and four touchdowns. If he is not completely locked up against the Tennessee Titans in Week 17, he will win his fifth 1,000-yard reception campaign in the NFL’s seven seasons.
Defender Deshaun Watson is another elite caller that Cooks had the luxury of playing with.
