Students, friends, family and artists say goodbye this morning to actor and director Albert Rodríguez, at the beginning of his awakening, at the Braulio Castillo Theater in Bayamón.

From the beginning, relatives arrived, among these brothers and grandchildren; and his inseparable comrades in the art class: Suzette Bacó, Marian Pabón, René Monclova, Jorge Castro and Raymond Gerena. Actors Junior Álvarez, Magdaly Cruz and Ángela Meyer also gathered before lunch.

“Albert has been in my life for the last 25 years, he has directed practically all my productions, because in the last five years I have shared the stage as an actor, he as a director and I as a producer. We were inseparable and he had to be here because he is a brother “, said Gerena SpokesmanBefore adding that the family “is very affected, it was something that caught us by surprise.”

Also early is Deddie Romero, with whom Rodríguez co-founded the National Talent Academy a decade ago, focusing on early school leaving education with campuses in Bayamón and Arecibo, whose principal was Albert.

“Albert has lived in Bayamón for a good part of his life and has always been very elegant with this servant, he was very appreciated,” said Bayamón Mayor Ramón Luis Rivera.

Rodríguez died on March 15, at the age of 58, at his residence in Bayamón. Forensic sciences have certified that it was due to natural causes.
