Vince McMahon grabbed Lashley first behind the scenes and gave him a big hug. The WWE boss told Lashley that he was proud of the superstar and that it was a backstage moment that the 44-year-old veteran will surely never forget.

Here’s what Bobby Lashley revealed:

“It simply came to our notice then [after winning the WWE Championship] and give Vince a hug, he grabbed me and held me for a while and said, “Man, I’m proud of you.”

Vince doesn’t want to have fun here: Bobby Lashley on the WWE CEO’s expectations

Bobby Lashley would go on to explain what Vince McMahon expects from WWE talent. The WWE Champion said that Vince McMahon wants superstars to go beyond their creative limits and deliver to a higher level.

“You’re not here to have fun. Vince doesn’t want you to have fun here. Vince wants to argue with you because you’re fighting for something you want. Vince wants to get out of the box and do something bigger.”

Bobby Lashley talked about the impetus that Vince McMahon wants his talent to have. The vision of the boss and the contributions of several other legends pushed Lashley to achieve more extraordinary things in the company.

“Vince wants to want WrestleMania so much that the crowd is forcing him to give you that title. I think I started getting into this point this year, definitely for a few months. I was bad, man. I was bad … I go out there with revenge and a lot of confidence runs through me “.

Bobby Lashley will head to WrestleMania 37 as the WWE Champion and is expected to face Drew McIntyre in one of the card title matches.

While the WWE creative team would have a few surprises up their sleeve, with the Fastlane PPV remaining, will Bobby Lashley still be the WWE Champion after WrestleMania 37? Tell us your opinions in the comments section.
