Police in St. Paul have arrested a man in connection with the shocking murder of a woman and her two children on Saturday afternoon.
St. Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell says a 26-year-old man was taken into custody at 7:25 PM Friday at the 2100 block of Wilson Avenue.
He is a person of interest in the fatal shooting of 30-year-old D’Zondria Wallace and her children, 14-year-old La’Porsha and 11-year-old Jacoebie.
The arrest was made by the St. Paul SWAT Police Department.
“Your SPPD officers worked promptly, professionally and always in the interests of the victims, their loved ones and the entire town,” Axtell said.
“I hope you will take a moment with me to thank the team members, who have all put their heart and soul into this cause.”
