How to watch the semifinals? Barcelona and Real Madrid are looking to face in another final

The Spanish Super Cup launches the format, following the decision of the Royal Spanish Football Federation to include the two finalists of the Copa del Rey, Athletic de Bilbao and Real Sociedad, to face the top two of the League, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Both semifinal matches can be enjoyed at ESPN Sports, while the Final will be broadcast live ESPN + and ESPN2 for the United States.

When are the semifinals played?

There was a draw to suit the teams, provided that Barcelona and Real Madrid did not meet in the semifinals.

The tournament, which was played last season in Saudi Arabia but due to a coronavirus pandemic, will be played in Andalusia. The semifinals are in Córdoba and Malaga, and the final will be played at the Estadio de la Cartuja in Seville.

This edition will mean the return of the tournament to Spain after the penultimate edition played in Tangier and the one in 2020 in the Saudi countries, where Real Madrid was proclaimed champion.

So, if Barcelona and Real Madrid win the semifinals, on Sunday a new trophy will be played with the Spanish classic between them.
