The staples must have seen all the attention Krispy Kreme receives free donut distribution people vaccinated throughout the year – with evidence through a valid vaccination card – because now we offer to roll these cards for all of us for free. In the latest version of the beautiful things that companies are doing for us right now, Staples announced yesterday that it will roll out, free of charge, any vaccine card completed from now until May 1 and this morning, Office Depot followed suit, promising free rolling until July 25.

It is not yet clear how important the paper books will be in the coming months, but chances are you will need yours for proof of vaccination at some point, whether you are traveling or returning to work or school. Because there is no comprehensive “digital vaccination passport” system in the United States, most of us will rely on that piece of paper as our only proof that we have been vaccinated.

To protect its integrity as much as we need it, says Staples Business Insider that it will roll any vaccination card after the cardholder has received two doses (for vaccines requiring two, ie) by 1 May. This date is an extension of the initial announcement on April 3. The offer is good in store in locations across the country; the coupon code is “81450”, according to CBS Boston. The Office Depot offer is about the same, but runs until the end of July; coupon code is 52516714 and the offer can be printed here.

Keep in mind that while laminating the card can help prevent damage, it won’t stop you from losing it. It’s still a good idea to take a clear photo of the card for your records, in case it should be missing.
