How to find Johnny’s friendship stats
To find Johnny’s Friendship stats, open the menu by tapping Touchpad on the PlayStation, I on the keyboard, or View on the Xbox.
As the menu opens, you’ll find three large icons at the top of the screen. The icon in the middle will show the percentage of your relationship with Johnny. You can hover the mouse over the icon to find out even more information.
It takes 70% friendship to unlock the secret ending
In short, no, you don’t have to reach 70% friendship to unlock the Secret End. The only requirement for unlocking the Secret End is simply selecting the correct answers during the main secondary work Chippin ‘In. If you follow the dialog options below, you’ll be able to unlock the Secret ending without reaching a maximum friendship with Johnny.

Chippin ‘In is one of the few major jobs that has many major decisions and consequences. The first list of choices comes during Johnny’s night, and the second during the conversation at Oil Fields.

These Tricks and Modes can help you reach 70%
Before proceeding, it is important to note that the following modes and tricks are provided by a third party and are not affiliated with CD Projekt Red in any form. By using these modes, you are fully aware of the risks they pose.
If this is out of the way, if you’re still struggling to reach Johnny’s 70% friendship, or just don’t want to reload a previous save to correct a dialog choice, you can opt to download a mode that suits you. will allow you to change the value of Johnny’s friendship.
Unfortunately, it is worth mentioning that the mode is only available for those on the PC.
