How to create and share the top 9 Instagram posts from 2020

In this digital age, the end of the year remains a prime time for reflection – only now can we get virtual assistance to help us remember what the best parts of the last 12 months have been.

The Instagram 9 top is probably the most well-known end-of-year round tradition, in which people use technology to see which of their Instagram posts have received the most appreciation in the last year and then share this data in the form of a grid.

While the practice of posting screenshots in your Insta profile report is a practice dating back to “old times,” as Mashable puts it, many of them have been posted on Instagram Stories in recent days.

Want to know how to make your own Top 9? Here’s how to do it before we call in the new year.

Choose between Top Nine and Best Nine

Both free sites serve exclusively to determine and form the most popular posts. Top Nine is available both as a website and as an application, the latter does not require an email address. Best Nine – which is only usable for public accounts – is just a site and works significantly slower. (“Please note that it now takes approximately 10 minutes to complete your request due to a huge request,” the website warns.)

Type the handle and wait

Simply enter it and submit it when prompted on any of the sites.

Save and distribute

Top Nine offers a “Save and Share” button to easily post the report on the grid in your Instagram story. For those who would prefer to upload it manually, just save or capture the image in the phone’s camera roll, then open Instagram and upload the image to a story.

Voila! Although 2020 was probably not the most photogenic year in the memory lived for many, we managed and still deserve to remember the most important moments (and maybe leave behind the dim lights).
