But Nintendo has a new one program that can help you.
With over 70 million units sold so far, it is likely that part of the Switch audience will include fallen Mario fans who have not taken over a controller since the ’90s, young console owners for the first time and curious latecomers who were trying video games for the first time. For those struggling to learn and use their new Switch, Nintendo now offers Nintendo Switch Concierge program. Switch owners can sign up for free 30-minute video chat meetings with a Nintendo customer service representative. Schedules cover a specific topic, such as:
- Learning how to use the Switch console
- Playing games
- Finding new games to play
- Creating a Nintendo account
- Online security and privacy
- Console customization
You should definitely consider a Nintendo Switch Concierge meeting if you feel intimidated by your device, but be sure to book quick: TMy slots are first come, first served. Fortunately, it’s easy to sign up:
- Open the official Nintendo Switch Concierge page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, then select one of the topics you want to cover from the list.
- Using the calendar, select a date and time.
- Add your name and email address. You can also include your phone number, address and any other notes you want to add, but they are optional.
- Click “Book” to submit the schedule.
- You will receive a confirmation email from [email protected]
- On the day of the appointment, use the link in that email to start a video chat with a Nintendo representative. They will guide you through the basics of the topic you have selected and help answer any questions you may have.
