Horacio Villalobos temporarily leaves the “Venga la Alegría” program

What a scare for followers Horacio Villalobos on Tuesday morning, when on his Twitter account, the host announced its departure from the “Venga la Alegría” program.

Without giving details, Villalobos suggested to his fans to return him to TV Azteca in the morning because he will talk about his departure from the program.

Minutes later, on the same social network, Horacio explained that the departure will be temporary and that he will return in April after participating in an English-American film. Villalobos joined “Venga la Alegría” in May 2020.

“Indeed, I am leaving @ VengaLaAlegria, but temporarily. I am going to make an English-American film. I will return to air @VengaLaAlegria on April 19,” it reads.

The director’s followers wished him well in this acting experience outside the theater, and they admitted that they will miss him in the morning, where he is in partnership with Anette Cuburu, Cynthia Rodríguez, Laura G, Capi Pérez, Patricio Borghetti, Roger González and Ricardo Cásares.

A few days ago, Horacio Villalobos became a trend in social networks after host Natalia Téllez accused him of having transphobic behaviors, especially with Alejandra Bogue, with whom Villalobos had problems in the past.

“Am I transphobic? Never! If I did anything it was to defend diversity. And I fought against homophobia and transphobia in the companies I worked for,” Horacio said.
