Honduras: Tolupán was killed while working in Morazán, Yoro

YORO, HONDURAS.- A Tolupán indigenous leader was assassinated on Tuesday afternoon in Candelaria sector, Morazán municipality, Yoro, central-northern part of Honduras.

The victim answered on behalf of Adam Mejia, which, according to preliminary information, was a member and leader of the Candelaria tribe of Yoro.

According to the information, the victim was working in the sector when she was killed by unknown persons.

The man’s body was left in place without a shirt and next to a red jacket, which he was supposed to be wearing when he was killed.
