Honduran Foreign Minister regrets death of Colombian defense minister

The Minister Foreign relations in HondurasLisandro Rosales on Tuesday lamented the death of Defense Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo of Covid-19 and described him as a of “dialogue and consensus”.

“Rest in peace my good friend @CarlosHolmesTru, lawyer, diplomat and above all a man of dialogue and consensus. Colombia is losing a great son!” Rosales said in a message on Twitter.

The Colombian minister died today in Bogota, at the age of 69, due to complications from his health due to the coronavirus, Colombian President Iván Duque informed.

Trujillo has also served as Minister of Education, Interior, Foreign Affairs and Defense in several governments.
